Hello,
My name is Mrs. Mauzy and I am excited to be your child's first grade teacher!
A little about me... I was born in California, but grew up an Army "brat," so I have had the opportunity to call places all over the world "home." As an adult, it is an honor to be serving the military children here on Fort Huachuca. I have a bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development and a master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Teaching is my passion and I am looking forward to working with you in helping your child achieve GREATNESS this year!
A few more things about me...
I am married to a firefighter.
We have one AMAZING child and a fur baby.
This is my ninth year teaching, grades Kinder-2nd.
I LOVE the color teal, Hubert's Lemonade and Target!
My favorite things to do are spend time with my family and being outdoors.
The last few years the education world has experienced many changes. Teachers, students, and parents have all had to adjust to these changes. As we start to get back to normal, please rest assured that I will do my very best to ensure your child has a wonderful educational experience this year. However, I do believe in teamwork.
