Principal's Corner

It is with great excitement I welcome you to Colonel Johnston Elementary School!  I am impressed with the passion and drive our staff has for the students of the Fort Huachuca Accommodation School District. I have been in education for 28 years and have enjoyed every opportunity given to me. My experiences have taken me to every level of education, including elementary, middle, and high school environments. Therefore, I am keenly aware of the importance of the K-2 years.  You will find the staff understands that as well. We plan to grow the whole student from academics to social behaviors necessary to thrive in today’s world. 

Please contact me anytime with questions or concerns you might have.  Our goal at Colonel Johnston is to foster a true partnership with our parents to create an environment where the unique needs of each child are met.  Please join us when you are able for our school events.  We want you to feel as if your child’s educational experience is yours as well. 

As the Principal of Colonel Johnston, my purpose is to create an atmosphere where students thrive and feel valued.  It takes a team: parents, dedicated staff, and principal to create such an environment.
