Hello! My name is Mrs. Rice and I am one of the five amazing kindergarten teachers at Colonel Johnston Elementary. Here is a little information about me- I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading. I have been teaching for almost eleven years and I love every moment of it! Ten of those years have been with Colonel Johnston!

 

I am originally from Hawaii and decided when I graduated from high school I wanted to experience something new. From there I moved to Tucson, Arizona to start a new journey. Since 2005 I have lived here and I now call Arizona my home away from home. I am now married to an amazing man and we have a beautiful daughter. 

 

I am honored to work with military families and be apart of your journey!  I am here if you have any questions or concerns.
